Fosters the development and exchange of technical information in the discipline of hypervelocity impact phenomena by promoting technical excellence, encouraging peer review publications, and holding technical meetings on a periodic basis.

Professional collaboration forum focused on Marine Corps Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) and Aviation Ground Support (AGS) operations, readiness, modernization efforts, training integration, lessons learned, capability development, and future operational requirements. The summit will include presentations, working groups, and collaborative planning sessions among AGS and ARFF personnel from across the Marine Corps.

NPS is recognized as an excellent convening location that brings subject matter experts (faculty) and operators (students) together to help organizations fully explore options to address critical national security challenges.  This will be a combined workshop with overlap by several attendees.  

The first portion of the workshop will be a FVEY Critical Undersea Infrastructure Protection meeting, led by NUWC-Newport, with attendees from FVEY nations to explore the increasingly important and challenging issue of protecting critical national undersea assets such as cables and pipelines.  

The second portion will be a tri-lat (US, UK, CAN) workshop, led by PMS-485, exploring concepts for the installation of new undersea infrastructure in the Arctic.

The Directed Energy Systems Symposium focuses on systems aspects of Directed Energy (DE). The purpose is to advance DE science and technology through sharing of information and current research. The target audience is academic researchers, DOW scientists and program managers, and industry representatives.
